President 2025 - 2026 Tasha Bouvier

Tasha Bouvier - ALA Department of Vermont President 2025 – 2026

Welcome to the Vermont American Legion Auxiliary website! I hope
you will take the time to explore our website and learn about the many
amazing programs we have and things the American Legion Auxiliary,
Department of Vermont, does for our Veterans, their families, our
communities and our youth.

My name is Tasha Bouvier, a member of Bristol Unit 19 in Bristol, Vermont and I am honored to be serving as the President of the Department of Vermont for the 2025-2026 term. I have been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 20 years.

I am eligible for the Auxiliary through my Paternal Grandfather James Andrew Bouvier. He served during World War II. He was a B-17 bomber pilot who was shot down on his 14th mission. He was reported M.I.A. and later a P.O.W for one year and one day. I joined the American Legion Auxiliary to honor my grandfather’s service. I was only 5 years old when he later passed in life, however I hope he is looking down at me and proud of the person I have become.

I reside with my dad, mom, and sister in Addison County. I have had the pleasure of serving at many levels in the Auxiliary. At the Unit level I have served as Secretary, President, and various chairmanships. At the Department level, I have served as District President for two terms, Historian, Girls State chairperson, and last year as the Department Vice-President.

I enjoy volunteering alongside our American Legion family members. When I am not volunteering, I work full-time for a travel company and enjoy camping, traveling, & being with my family. I want all of us to continue to focus on supporting our Veteran's, their families, and our
communities, working as an American Legion Family. I believe working together we can do so much more than as an individual.

If you are a new visitor to our website, welcome! If you are interested in joining the American Legion Auxiliary, we have contact information here that you can use to reach out to our headquarters.
We can answer any questions you may have, determine your eligibility, and help get you signed up. We would love to have you join our team.

God Bless our men and women in uniform, our American Legion Auxiliary, and the United States of America!

In the Spirit of Service, Not Self,

Tasha Bouvier, President
American Legion Auxiliary
Department of Vermont
